A badminton match is a best of 3 games system.As per new badminton rules andregulations, a game is won by the player who is the first to reach 21 points. In case of a 20-all scenario,the player who is the first to take a two point lead wins the game. Theserve must be always an underhand serve. Ashuttlecock that lands on a boundary line is considered to be 'in'. The player or the team that wins the first game serves first in the subsequent game. If a player touches thenet or any part of the net with his racket, body or clothes, it is considered to be a fault.While serving, the badmintonracket must strike the cork portion of the shuttlecock first. If it strikes the feathers first, it is considered tobe a fault.
